Bridging the Gap 12.+13.8. In the framework of the Wiener Ferienspiel (from the age of 6) Location: Architekturzentrum Wien - Podium Workshop: 12 August 2013 - 13 August 2013 Opening Hours: EUR 7,00 / admission free for small partner Arch bridges, chain bridges, suspension bridges, hanging bridges, cable stayed bridges, pontoons or human chains – the children found out more about the construction and history of these key feats of civil engineering at the Architekturzentrum Wien. Equipped with tape measure, spirit level and other tools we built our own bridge on a scale of 1:1. We tested its load bearing capacity over water – nobody got wet!
