Take a bird’s eye view! This is the perspective you have from the Bahnorama, a timber-built observation tower at the new Main Train Station. Rahm Architects, who designed this tower, tell us what is so special about it – for instance it is constructed in an environmentally-friendly way, can be taken down and reerected wherever required.
What must be taken into consideration when building towers like this – for instance if there are gale force winds blowing up there? We will then build our own towers and subject them to a wind test.
