City of the Future – p[ART] part of the program p[ART] – Partnership between Schools and Cultural Facilities Location: Architekturzentrum Wien – Hall F3 Exhibition: 05 December 2014 - 07 December 2014 Opening Hours: 5.12.: 12:30pm-19pm, 6.12.-8.12.:10am-7pm Opening: Friday 5 December 2014, 12:30pm Tickets: Admissiom free! The milestones presented from the partnership with the AHS Heustadelgasse (school) were developed within the context of p[ART] 2012 - 14. We asked ourselves questions about the city of the future and formulated ideas for the development in Aspern. In addition the school building on Heustadelgasse, the pupils’ immediate environment, the Donaustadt and the new buildings of the Economics and Business University were a theme. Interview with Angela Engel (the video is part of the project) (in German) The Seestadt aspern will be present as a model and lead once again to a joint discussion. In the course of urban development the demographic situation in the 22nd district is changing, new residents encounter old established ones. A video interview with one of the first residents documents the emerging new mood in the Seestadt. The pupils both produced the contents and built up the exhibition themselves. The collaboration between the Az W Architekturzentrum Wien and the AHS Heustadelgasse forms part of the program p[ART] – Partnership between Schools and Cultural Facilities and is supported by KulturKontakt Austria and the Federal Ministry for Education, the Arts and Culture. |
