A historic institution is relocating to new central offices on the busy Rochusmarkt. With listed original substance and an Art Deco façade, the new building forms a peaceful, compact ensemble. The seam between old and new is emphasised by an atrium that creates space for encounters. So too, the Post is entrusting the architects with the design of the interior space. Instead of workspace, living space was required with plenty of space for communication. The result is an open office landscape with small withdrawal zones for concentrated work.
