The core competence of our collecting activity is securing the architectural estates of architects, living and deceased, with a particular focus on “architecture after 1945”. Alongside plans, sketches, models and photographs the contents also include various kinds of archive material as well as personal and professional documents and correspondence. Printed material and newspaper cuttings are also to be found in the archive. The material is entered systematically in a databank, allowing research to be carried out according to different criteria.
The collection of architectural estates has repeatedly generated exhibitions and books (in chronological order):
Raimund Abraham (exhibition and catalogue, 1999)
Hans Steineder (exhibition and catalogue, 1999)
Friedrich Achleitner (exhibition, 2000)
