Az W Photo Award Architecture and Urbanism in Southeast Europe The region includes metropolises like Istanbul, Thessaloniki, Warna, Skopje, Zagreb or Belgrade. Metternich even thought that the Balkans began at Rennweg in Vienna‘s 3rd District. For the Balkan focus in 2009 at the Az W, a photography competition on the topic is being held. All are welcome to submit pictorial ideas on ’Architecture and Urbanism in Southeast Europe‘. Attractive prizes await – from Kodak cameras to memory cards and digital picture frames. A jury is to select the 10 best photographs. The winners will be notified by email, and announced on the Az W website. Submissions to: foto@azw.at Format: jpg, not exceeding 1 MB Larger files (>1MB): per post on CD-ROM to the Az W, Museumsplatz 1 / MQ, 1070 Vienna, Austria Deadline for submissions: Mon, 30.11.2009 Submissions may only be made by the author/s of the work concerned. The person/s submitting work accept full liability should the rights of third parties be infringed.
