Az W Summer Tours 2013 The Architekturzentrum Wien is offering 10 Vienna City Walks between May and September this year. Guided tours (in German) take place regardless of weather, with a minimum of 3 participants. SUMMER TOUR 1 New Architecture New projects large and small along the U2 Dates: Fri 31.05 / 28.06 / 26.07 / 30.08 / 27.09 Meeting Point: 3.50pm at the MuTh, 1E Obere Augartenstraße Duration: 2h Tickets: EUR 18.00 / students EUR 14.00 incl. MuTh guided tour, please bring a valid ticket for public transport. Vienna is constantly changing. This guided tour shows the original controversial concert hall for the Vienna Boys' Choir and leads to the WU campus, which is just about to open, with a view of impressive projects by big name architects from around the world. Finally, we wind down the summer evening on the cool waters of Viertel Zwei. SUMMER TOUR 2 The Danube Canal Town on the water Dates: Sat 18.05 / 15.06 / 13.07 / 10.08. / 14.09 Meeting Point: 3.50pm at the Postsparkasse, 2 Georg-Coch-Platz Duration: 2h Tickets: EUR 16.00 / students EUR 13.00 Starting at Otto Wagner's Postal Savings Bank (Postsparkasse), this guided tour leads along the Danube Canal, which is lively in the summer.
