1949–1952 studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna under Clemens Holzmeister
practical experience in various offices in Düsseldorf, Freiburg and Munich
office in Innsbruck from 1961
from 1979 professor at the faculty for civil engineering of Innsbruck University (deacon from 1993–1995)
