Guided Tours of Projects in Vienna

Exclusive visits to the sites of recent and current construction projects are organised for ARCHITECTURE LOUNGE members as well as for Partners of the Az W.

1. Guided Tour of the Erste Campus

The new company headquarters in the Belvedere quarter of Vienna is scheduled for use by a total of 4,000 staff of the Erste Group from 2016. Partners of the Architekturzentrum Wien have already been given the opportunity for an exclusive tour of the construction site. The tour was led by the architects Marta Schreieck and Dieter Henke as well as Michael Hamann, Project Manager Erste Group, and Christian Maeder, Representative of the Building Owner Erste Group.

2. aspern Vienna's Urban Lakeside

Vienna is one of the fastest growing cities in Europe. The largest urban development zone is aspern Vienna's Urban Lakeside, to the east of the city. Over 20,000 people will live at Vienna's Urban Lakeside by 2029 while another 20,000 will work there.
The Partners of the Architekturzentrum Wien have already had an exclusive opportunity to visit this major urban development zone. Gerhard Schuster, CEO of Wien 3420 Aspern Development AG, presented the three development phases of Vienna's Urban Lakeside in an exclusive guided tour of the site.

3. The South of Vienna

Things are changing fast in the south of Vienna. Togeher with members of our ARCHITECTURE LOUNGE we visited the following projects:
In der Wiesen Süd: The grounds of a dialogue-oriented client's competition in two-stages encompass 7 construction sites in the 23rd District of Vienna, Liesing.
Projekt Perfektastraße 58: Europan 7, Spanish architecture office YIC-architects
Projekt Waldmühle Rodaun, Georg Schwalm-Theiss and architect Margarethe Cufer
