Since its founding in 1993 the Architekturzentrum Wien has successfully established itself internationally and in specialist circles as a knowledge base for architecture. At the core of its activities is the mediation of architecture complete with all of the basic parameters and protagonists concerned.
As an Austrian architecture museum, we give priority to building on and promoting the dialogue between architecture, politics and economics. We have established the ARCHITECTURE LOUNGE for this purpose, as a special platform for our partner firms, a package for the market leaders in terms of both quality and quantity. Two member conferences are held annually in this context to ensure that there is a regular intensive exchange between the partners. An exclusive architecture excursion is organised every year for members of the ARCHITECTURE LOUNGE that provides unparalleled access to the planning and building activity in a particular town, city or region.
Structure
A limited number of members and a long-term bond with the Architekturzentrum Wien promote a strengthened cooperation and exchange of knowledge and experiences. The ARCHITECTURE LOUNGE aims to establish and define itself as a platform for information and knowledge for decision-makers in the fields of economics, politics and architecture, and to provide services tailored for the development of this platform.
