On June 4 and June 5 the Az W is opening its doors to all those interested in architecture, to make the historical roots of Austrian architecture come to life in a series of guided tours and workshops revolving around the exhibitions 'a_show. Austrian Architecture in the 20th and 21st Centuries' and 'The Austrian Phenomenon. Concepts Experiments. Vienna Graz 1958-1973'.
On Friday, June 4, the Az W is introducing newcomers on the French architecture and planning scene with the seminar 'Le Nouveau Réalisme'. On Saturday, June 5, there is an exhibition of the 'Viewpoints' held by the photographer Pez Hejduk on Linzer Strasse.
A particular highpoint on Saturday evening is the presentation of the project that won the Kiosk competition. This is followed by a final party in the Az W courtyard, seeing out the Architekturtage 2004 with a buzz.
