vision: perfect imperfection
their entry on the scene took a course contrary to the habitual. georg huber and karl meinhart approached their team identity not via trendy shop designs or trim single-family dwellings. actionist interventions and interdisciplinary analyses in salzburg city gave them their initial tread. their first collaborative competition dealt with structural measures to modernize a gigantic area in thessaloniki. at that time, the second-largest seaport in greece sought impulses for its role as 1997 european capital of culture. one room was awarded one of the main prizes in a procedure that involved experts and young teams from all over europe in multistage workshops.
